We will strive to instil a learning culture within which training personnel creates structured learning events and all other employees within the company facilitates unstructured learning events where and when necessary. All employees are committed to create a learning environment for all, thus becoming training resources. From the sensory stimuli given to learners in a structured environment (training centre), to the responsibility and discipline of the learner, reinforcement of what has been learned, to the behaviour and occupational conduct, are all seen holistically as continuous learning in the workplace under the guidance of competent people, and the responsibility of all.
An environment where a learning culture can be established, the empowerment of all by means of trust, competence, transparency, reliability, and shared values will lead to shared responsibility and a common vision.
Our training methodology will follow the philosophy of dependent, collaborative towards independent learning. Where the dependent phase is the instilling of a foundation for further learning, important for the future development and success of the learner. During this dependent learning phase all aspects such as basic knowledge, discipline, responsibility, and workplace ethics, under the guidance of an instructor, are facilitated. Our learning programs will move from dependent learning facilitation (Basic level courses) to collaborative learning facilitation (Intermediate level courses) ending with independent learning facilitation (Advanced courses).
Due to the training and learning philosophy we follow, the utilization of various learning modes (blended learning) to be used where and when appropriate or possible.
Development of training personnel will be ongoing, and performance will be evaluated on a continuous basis. All durations and intended quality training/learning sessions are based on the compliance to international and accepted facilitator to learner ratios, which will be specified for each course and could be 1:15 for institutional courses and for practical sessions. These ratios are based on the practical requirement of the course and the specific ratio will be specified in the course introduction module.
Policies and procedures will guide facilitators and will serve as a plan to achieve intended training objectives. Regular audits will monitor compliance and quality of training and learning.
